Brother Lorenz runs the Temple of Ontario, along with Sisters Clairese and Jada. The three clergy people encounter Harrison and his friends after a grisly encounter between the Scynthians and fifteen of the Ontarian townspeople. A horse-drawn cart wheels into the small village the dismembered bodies of the unlucky souls, as Harrison tries to relay an important message to the townsfolk that the Scynthians are amassing new their borders.
The young warrior needs to trek into the widely unknown Great Ridge of King Solaris in order to find a precious jewel. Sister Clairese volunteers to be the group’s guide and successfully leads the men deep into the mountain range. Upon their return, the small group encounters yet some more Scynthians and narrowly escapes with their lives.
