Meredith was born and raised in the city of Concur. She is the daughter of the former town leader, William Henry Bilodeau. William was a benevolent ruler who was well received throughout the town. Meredith, always a very intelligent girl, followed her father everywhere. The local merchants and townsfolk all adored her. As she grew up, she became a very beautiful woman. Her attractiveness and charismatic personality charmed everyone she met.
Meredith’s life changed with the siege of Concur. William fought gallantly to defend his city, but Lord Hammer and his men were too strong. After William was murdered, Meredith tearfully watched as her city was closed off to the rest of the world. Lord Hammer’s men constructed walls around the city, and closed off its port to foreigners. To make matters worse, Meredith became the prize of Nigel Hammer, who took Meredith to be his partner and built her a mansion to live in. Nigel forced the townsfolk to treat her like royalty, something she absolutely abhorred. Though known as the First Lady of Concur, she detests the title. Meredith understands that she cannot defeat Nigel or his army, but she has many sympathizers and it is only a matter of time before she is liberated.
