The Overlords

For those of you reading this for the first time, The Overlords is a trilogy written by Mike Squatrito.  The story is set in the fantasy genre, and has been an ongoing project of mine for the past eleven years.  I either found your email address, or got it from you, or from a friend of yours!  Please continue to read this newsletter, and visit my website!

What’s New

I know it has been a long time since my last newsletter, but I have great news!  I’ve been working hard on getting my book through the publishing process and I’ve finally completed my work.  The book is on its way to the printers and I should have an actual book in my hands by the end of the month.  I’ve seen the proofs for the book text and cover design and they both look really good -- I hope everyone feels the same.  I’ll send out a special email to my loyal fans to let them know how to order my book, as well as instructions for getting it personally autographed.  J

About The Project

Now that Legend of the Treasure is just about complete, I’ll be turning my sights toward the marketing process for the book.  This will be a new venture for me and I’ll let everyone know what I come up with very soon.  At first I’ll be contacting the local papers, book stores, and schools I’ve spoken at in the past.

As for the Talisman of Unification, I’ve finished the second pass of the book and now I have to incorporate all of my own red lines.  This is the easiest part of writing the book; my next course of action will be to shape it even more and make it a solid piece of work.  It better be, it’s the follow-up to a future best seller!
