What’s New

 

Big news at Overlord Enterprises!!!  First, I sold the 400th copy of Legend of the Treasure at the Newport Irish Festival over Labor Day weekend.  Last count was at 414 -- well past the number I thought I’d sell!  Second, I submitted my manuscript for The Talisman of Unification to iUniverse this past week, meaning that copies of my sequel should be ready around Christmastime.  When I get a definitive date, I’ll send out another email where people can sign up for advance copies of the book.  Remember, a personally autographed book makes a great gift!

 

My trip to Westwood High School in Phoenix, Arizona went very well.  I’d like to take the time here to thank Mary Sarwark for her hospitality.  I’ll be heading back to Phoenix and the school on 10/17 to give a “Concepts of Writing and Publishing” presentation to her students, as well as to talk to some of the kids in her class.  We’re hoping to start a writer’s club where I can help the students with their creations through in person talks, YouTube videos, email, and whatever else the Internet has to offer.  I’ll keep everyone posted.

 

I’m in the process of finalizing my updates to my websites.  Since last year my business has grown so much that I need two sites, one for my book and one for my public appearances.  The current website, www.the-overlords.com, will continue to have everything about the Overlords storyline -- character biographies, maps, etc.  My second website, www.OverlordEnterprises.com, contains descriptions of my school visits, presentations, writer’s clubs, etc.  If you have a chance, take a look at the sites and let me know what you think, I could really use the feedback.

 

Speaking of the website, if you follow the Talisman of Unification links, I have a clue to crack the encrypted code my characters encounter during their adventure.  Are you a worthy warrior?  Can you crack the code?  Give it a try and get a glimpse into what the story is all about!

Finally -- Teachers, where are you???  The new sixth grade teacher at St. Philomena’s has decided to concentrate on her class and has passed on me visiting with her students for the time being.  This means I’m available every other Friday for someone else, starting 10/5.  Contact me for more information on what I offer, or visit my Overlord Enterprises website for more details.
