What’s New

 

This might not be the place for it, but how about those Red Sox!  World Champs for the second time in the past four years -- way to go!  Now that that’s behind us, I have a lot to say about The Overlords.  I completed my proofs of The Talisman of Unification before my baseball trip to Phoenix and have received word from iUniverse that my book is in the production phase.  This means that the sequel to Legend of the Treasure should be commercially available in the next two to three weeks (the new cover is pictured on the right).  It might take a bit longer for me to have a book in my hands, but they will be available for online purchases.  I’ll follow up with postings on my website and blog, as well as an email to my loyal fan base.  And, I will send a separate email that will detail what you need to do to reserve an advance copy of the new book.  The wait is almost over!

 

My trip to Westwood High School in Phoenix, Arizona on 10/17 was a big success.  Before giving two presentations on the “Concepts of Writing and Publishing” to about 100 students, I fielded questions at the library to about 15 inquisitive students.  I signed the two school library copies of Legend of the Treasure, and gave away two copies in each of the presentation sessions.  Mary Sarwark’s students also have some very creative ideas for Overlords apparel and merchandising, which we will be delving deeper into this fall.  Finally, I’ll be lending my services to their Writer’s Club, with details to follow in the subsequent months.  I’ll be sure to keep everyone posted.

 

I’ve finalized the updates to my websites.  It has taken some time to complete, but it’s finally done!  The cover of the new book, which is pictured here, is also posted at the book website, www.the-overlords.com.  If you click on the link to The Talisman of Unification, you will get an insight to the storyline, new characters, and cryptic code (Has anyone cracked the code???).  Let me know what you think.
