What’s New

 

January was a big month for The Overlords.  On January 23rd, I lectured at my alma mater, The University of Rhode Island, on the “Concepts of Writing and Publishing”.  If I say so myself, this was the best presentation I have ever done.  I spoke and fielded questions for a solid two hours; the students were very attentive and asked great questions.  I might even get an intern to help me go national to boot!  Thanks to my good friend, Gail Alofsin, for letting me speak to her class.

 

Did you catch The Overlords Coffee Cup Salute on January 23rd?  If not, don’t fret -- I’m in the process of getting the video clip and posting it on my website.  For those of you outside the Rhode Island area, The Coffee Cup is on NBC 10 and highlights local businesses and the like.  My new Overlords mug was displayed onscreen for a good minute while the anchorman talked about my books, my school visits, and upcoming events.  A great spot and a major plug for Overlord Enterprises!!!

 

With over 135 copies of The Talisman of Unification sold, I’m still waiting for my first review to be posted on Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com.  If you’ve read the story, please find time to write a review for me -- this is one of the easiest ways for me to reach the world via the Internet.  Your kind words can go a long way.

 

Remember, I have Overlord coffee mugs available for sale.  The mugs display one of the book covers on the front and contact information on the back.  Mugs will sell for $12, which will also be available via my website in the near future.

Book Three Update

 

Believe it or not, I’m already into the fifth chapter of my third book in my Overlords series!  Starting with this newsletter, I’ll be updating you on my status and planned completion date of the yet untitled novel.  Rest assured, there will be plenty of action and wizardry to be had in this next volume.  I’m hoping everyone will be patient -- I’m shooting to finish the writing portion of the project by the end of 2008, and have the book available to the public some time in 2009.

 

I will also update my website with some details about Book Three, so keep checking the site for more details.
