What’s New
I know, I know, where have I been??? Overlord Enterprises lost a little momentum the past few months due to a seven day-a-week work schedule for the months of February, March, and the beginning of April, a much-needed 10-day vacation, springtime yard work, and my son’s 18 Little League games in the past two months. Can you say BUSY?!?!
The brutal work schedule zapped my creativity and I was only been able to write a handful of times during that time. But, fear not! Memorial Day is behind us, work is back to normal, the yard looks great, and my son is throwing gas on the mound! The summer will be in full swing soon enough, which means I plan on writing every night with the intent of finishing my first pass by the end of 2008. It’s a pretty aggressive schedule, but it’s something I’ve done before with the outcome being Legend of the Treasure. I know I can do it again.
On April 8th, I visited the Tiverton Middle School where I spoke to about 50 students. Hopefully I inspired them to write and be creative. The kids seemed to enjoy the monster creation portion of my visit and we all had a lot of fun. I want to thank my cousin, Lisa Dion, for setting up my visit.
Parents, I have plenty of books for your child’s summer reading. Both novels are 400 pages and usually count for two books on most school’s reading lists. The stories are appropriate for middle school children on up. You can email me for more details.
Book Three Update
With the summer season kicking in, I’ll be setting up book signing events outside, including several at the Newport Yachting Center. I’ll let everyone know when I have actual dates set.
That’s it for now, a little short, but it’s time to get the ball rolling again!
